| Any issues to report? It would be nice to have a place to download the old Smart View should this new pose too many problems. |

| I haven't had any issues either. I'm still trying to decide if I like or hate the new skin. I wonder if there is a way to instantly switch back to the classic one. |

The new SmartView 2.22 blocks Mac OS X connection sharing, and while you are connected via EVDO it prevents you from enabling WiFi - even if just to connect to a WiFi printer.
This "upgrade" is rather seriously broken, and is actually more of a downgrade.

How are you able to connect using SmartView 2.22 with MAC OSX.. I am on MAC OSX 10.5.6 and cannot connect with SmartView 2.22 using my EX720 Card... I have use my Network Preferences pane to connect...
Any suggestions on how to get SmartView 2.22 to work with OSX 10.5.6?

Interesting. That does seem to work.
Nice of them to bother documenting this change anywhere.
I wonder if the next step is blocking this entirely.
*grrrr*

That worked for me! I just updated to SSV 2.25 and all of the sudden it would not connect as something was already connected. Not sure what? Parallels which is not running?
Anyway, fixed and it allows sharing the net conection via airport. |

| I just updated to the smartview, I'm a little late to the game I know, but here I am. The problem is I can't lock it to "evdo only." I found where the button is to do this, On the page in settings where you change roaming options, which I can do, but everything else on that page is greyed out and cannot be changed. I tried running smartview as administrator, since I'm in Vista, but nothing I seem to do will make these option come to life. |
