EVDO finally arrived in Peoria, IL but...

I haven't used my USB 720 modem in quite awhile. I used it everyday when I was on the road and away from home a week at a time. However, instead of paying that ETF of $200, I thought I would keep it and maybe fine a use for it in the near future. However, that has not been the case. Now, I see EVDO has arrived in Peoria, IL but being 6 or 7 miles from downtown and about ground level, it comes and goes. I never lose my connection which is zero to two towers but it does change between EVDO and 1xRTT. At this very instant, I have no towers but have an EVDO connection. Anybody know where the Sprint towers are located in the Peoria area and does it reach over to Galesburg now? Internet Frog shows I'm getting 519Kbps Down and 84 Kbps up...
