thursday 7/17/08 1pm pleasanton california 94588
cradlepoint 350 blackberry curve8330 sprint modem mode
rev.0
(Employee Discount) 500BKB with 5gig cap
360 xbox live cod4 team death match no headset
i played a10 minute game = 600sec
kb numbers are real time from my router wan statistics i recorded the kb before and after the game.
max recieve speed 856kbs
max sent speed 136kbs
total sent 1548kb in 600 seconds
total recieved 1130kb in 600 seconds
total sent + recieved = 2678kb in 600 seconds
2678kb divided by 600secs = 4.46kbs
5 gig cap divided by 4.46kbs = 1,121,076.2 secs
1,121,076.2 divided by 60 secs = 18,684.603 minutes
18,684.603 divided by 60 minutes = 311 hours
311 hours of game play divided by 30 day month =
10.38 hours of xboxlive a day if you do nothing else, no downlods, ect. this is only average from the one game i played.
stay out of xbox live market while idle. Advertisements will slowly eat kbs. I found if i scroll over to the system setting page there is no advertisements and the kb did not go up. The only problem with rev.0 is upload speed lags a bit while playing live. I had no problem downloading a 5mb file in 7 seconds on xbox live.

yeah have played for a couple of days and really don't see much usage.

Play every other day plus downloading and have used 2196741 since the 2nd. So with playing on line I am at 2.09 GB. I was worried with xbox live using to much of the 5GB. And that was with downloading the maps of 447 MB.

Really can't complain with the play either. But I will DL most of my stuff off DSL at home.

You downloaded a 5MB file in 7 seconds? That means you you would have to be downloading at around 725kB/s. That's impossible considering a speed that fast would be close to 6Mbps. That is currently impossible on any Rev A connection.

I'll run a GTA IV test on my PS3 and reset the counter in DU meter and see what type of numbers I come up with.

I won't access any browsers through the computer just connect to the PSN network and play GTA for a bit and see how much data I use.

Okay I just ran a test to see what type of numbers I come up with.

Game GTA IV 16 person team matches

Playtime 45 Minutes/ 5 minutes of lobby wait time game setup etc.

Total Incomming traffic 23.5MB
Total Outgoing traffic 36.7MB

Total Traffic 60.2MB

I noticed I was up around 2MB after my PS3 connected just loading my friends list and there avatars.

This was for 50 minutes so my guess for a hour of full match ups would run you around 70MB an hour. If your playing smaller matches you probably wouldn't use quite as much bandwidth.

In conclusion if your playing GTA IV you can get around 73 hours of game play on 5GB.

73 hours of game play divided by 30 day month = 2.4 hours of GTA IV a day.
