Got an email from Sprint today stating "the account spending limit on your account has been removed."
Anyone get this and/or know what it means? |

I didn't get an e-mail about it, but I noticed one time logging in that it said my account was partially restricted due to late payment. WTF?
When I signed up two years ago, they told me I had an $800 spending limit. I verified that this meant I could not pay the bill for up to $800, which for 2 accounts is 6 months. I'm never really late on bills so I didn't worry about it.
I don't know, it seems like crap to me. |

If you have an $800 spending limit, that means that you can buy new devices (and accessories) and add new monthly fees (new lines of service), up to $800. It doesn't mean that you cannot pay your bill for a few months. _________________ EVDO :: EVDO News :: EVDO Antennas :: Buy Verizon :: Buy Sprint :: EVDO Amplifier |

Hmm, that's not what the Sprint rep said, which was verified by having it for over a year. They basically said that the maximum my monthly amount due can be is $800, regardless of what is making up those charges. She said that normally, that high amount would be for handheld device downloads, over-minutes, etc.
If I were to check my account online, I used to have a bar graph that showed spending limit, and my current balance would highlight a portion of that. It would say something like, "$650 spending limit remaining". Since they redid the Sprint site, that bar graph is gone. |

A Sprint Rep in a store doesn't always have all the info.
Your MRC (Monthly Recurring Charge) plus any new devices, or new MRCs or new accessories cannot go over $800 in one month.
You still have to pay your bill.
As an example, we have a few large customers that have unlimited spending limit - that doesn't mean they don't have to pay their bill from month to month - just means they can add as many new lines of service that they want. _________________ EVDO :: EVDO News :: EVDO Antennas :: Buy Verizon :: Buy Sprint :: EVDO Amplifier |

To answer the first posters question.
Without seeing what you received, sounds like you can spend as much as you want and get new lines of service - just remember that you have to pay your monthly bill _________________ EVDO :: EVDO News :: EVDO Antennas :: Buy Verizon :: Buy Sprint :: EVDO Amplifier |

| I saw that on my profile last week saying I was over my limit, when my bill had already been paid (Never late). No I don't see it anymore. so maybe it was just a glich. |
