| Hi. Does the new iPhone 3G allow you to go online via Sprint's EVDO service? |

from what I understand, you can only get online through At&t's network, or through local wifi. (you could put your sprint modem into a cradlepoint router, and then surf the web with the iphone through that) _________________ - Henry |

Well, technically, you can, using a:
- iPhone
- PHS300
- Sprint USB EVDO Modem.
Once you have that gear, you would be able to hookup to Sprint via WiFi to the CradlePoint PHS300.
This would give you more 3G coverage vs. AT&T, but would kind of be overkill, since you cannot purchase an iPhone without a data package from AT&T.

Thanks for the replies. I didn't know apple and ATT were in bed.
How ATT's service plan compare to Sprints'? Do they offer unlimited plans?
Also, which Sprint EVDO phones do you guys recommend? Where can I find them if I want to shop around? |

This is what I do at home, albeit with a MBR1000. I can't get ATT 3G at my house and the wifi connection is considerably faster than EDGE.
I use my fair share of 3G bandwidth away from home... This is off topic a bit, but I don't know how I survived before my iPhone. Listening to streaming audio via the Internet while driving is awesome.
