I have wildblue but i am thinking of dropping them as my service has degraded over the past couple months. Anyway if i do drop them would it be possible to make an evdo antenna with the dish?
I have an antenna made from the Hughes net dish, should be similar to your wild blue dish.
I built the bi-quad off of trevor marshalls site, using lmr-400 cable and it has greatly increased my reveived signal strength
went from -98 to -79 dbm,
It was a nice project to do and the results are well worth the effort.
Google trevor marshall bi quad, follow instructions in the last paragraph as it is for 1900mhz, where as the majority of the text is for the 2400mhz bi quad, different dimensions on the antena and groundplane.
