|
|
I have a um150 verizion with arc freedom antenna. my location is on the edge of evdo but my cell detects evdo. upon dialing device switches from rev a to 1x when connects. If I check rssi they are both usually range of -75 to -85. I have moved to the best location possible in my house with antenna in window still same. Any one have any ideas ? by the way my brother has same device on lap top with no antenna and worked in rev a any where in my house, this was only a one night test but I stayed in 1x? |

|
|
1. Install cell card.
2. Open Verizon Access Manager, but don't connect online.
3. Hold down the Ctrl key and press the d key.
4. Type in diagvzw as the password.
5. Click on SETTINGS.
6. Select HDR Only.
7. Close and connect.
I think that HDR means High Data Rate, e.g. EVDO.
Do the same steps, but select automatic instead of HDR Only to get the card back to normal.
I learned all of this from other users here at EVDO Forums. |
