As I understand my terms of service, I should power off my router when not using one of my computers?

Also, as I understand it, there's no simple way to have two modems using the same account, right?

Thanks in advance for any advice, j

The Linksys router I'm using certainly powers up on demand and appears to power off after extended inactivity. Question answered. I'll let everyone know if I learn anything more about two hardware device on one account. I'm assuming, at this point, it's a no go (without calling V every switch). j

When you say two devices are you referring to two lines for two modems or just using two modems on one line? If you are using two devices for one line then you would have to activate the device which you can do on their site, but I'm not sure if there's cost for that i.e. an activation fee. You also would still only have a 5GB limit this way. But if you are talking about two lines and two devices you shouldn't have any problems with Verizon but you'll have to swap the cards out of the wireless router, which would be my guess unless one of the routers with multiple ports and then you could setup a failover but that would mean pulling out the one card. Or you could set it up like I'm going to do and that is to use them on different computers and balance my usage between the systems.

EVDO folks, that could be great feature have added to one of the wireless routers, have two USB ports with two modems and have a usage meter that monitors and when you approach your user set max then it would failover to the other modem or maybe even balance the usage..... Hint Hint...
