I am at my wits end!Shocked I have the Kyocera KPC680 with Quicklink mobile software and it keeps disconnecting, when it disconnects it always says detecting wireless card. It is driving me insane!Evil or Very Mad I don't know what to do about it, I have tried deleting the old connection and creating a new one, and I have uninstalled the software/drivers countless times and it still keeps disconnecting. I have 2 to 3 bars of service when it disconnects.

I run on Windows Vista, and my computer is a desktop I connect with the USB converter for the wireless card

I have also tried updating the Quicklink mobile software but the smithmicro site is down...please help me! Sad

A few questions for more information:

1. Does any other USB device work out of that same port? Do they have the same symptoms?

2. Those USB adapters (at least the one I have) can be terribly flimsy. Make sure you're doing performing any sudden movements.

3. You're running Vista on a notebook that doesn't have PCMCIA or ExpressCard slots?

Sounds a lot like a USB problem rather than a data card problem, but more info may be needed to be sure.
