| I have a KR2 that I use wirelessly to two laptops in my house. I know bluetooth and wifi share the same frequency, 2.4, but how much do they affect each other? I want to ditch my land line and use a Xlink-cell Bluetooth Gateway with my cell phone, via bluetooth, and then it uses my landline phones in my house. Will the performance of either technology be degregated when they are both up and running? |

Though WiFi and Bluetooth operate in the same unregulated frequency range, the two signals modulate differently, so one device type does not see the other. Moreover, WiFi is designed to cover far greater range than Blueooth and uses more power because of it.
So then, the likelihood of you having issues while operating both devices is very remote. In the unlikely event that you do encounter an issue, simply change the WiFi channel on KR2 and the problem should disappear. |
