|
|
Hello,
This forum helped me out with a few questions so I figured I would give back and give you fine members my experience. I started out on the lousy Dial-up with download speeds around 3.2 KB/s (horrible). I learned there was a Alltel EVDO supported tower about 1 mile away so I figured to try it out.
I figured if speed was horrible there is always the little test period where you are not locked into a 2 year contract. Today I went to the Alltel store and activated service with a UM150 card. Took it home and hooked it up and made sure to download the newest software for the best service.
I was instantly amazed at the speeds I could download at 80 KB/s or more in bursted time frames. The upload is a little bit lacking with only around 20-30 KB/s but its still a great service. I am waiting until the early hours of the morning where hardly anyone will be using the tower and I am hoping to get even faster speeds.
So the bottom line I have to say is "This service is great and very fast".
Sincerely,
A happy customer |

That will be just horrible but wasn't the contact signed before it so it would be null if changed by their party? |

Alltel has a link to merger info on their site. It claims that nothing will change for current Alltel users, until their contract expires. |

You are correct, the contract is enforceable but at the end of it they of course would have a right to raise prices or change the conditions such as download limits. |
