Just bought a KR2 to go with my PC5750.
Tried it out in Atlanta where I live and it worked great. Upgraded the firmware (latest version 3) and took it to my lake house.
I don't get a great signal at the lake but when connected to my PC the 5750 gets one bar and connects to the Rev. A network most of the time.
Here's where it gets weird - it won't work in the KR2 at the lake house. The EVDO light flashes and it tries to connect but it can't. The light on the 5750 flashes green so I know it's connected to the network. It will work just fine (only one bar signal strength) in a PC in the same room.
I can tether my Verizon Blackberry as well. What could be wrong with the 5750 in this location? Is the KR2 more sensitive to low signal strength? |

OK, so I got back to Atlanta and plugged it all in and it works just great.
It seems the only thing different between locations is signal strength.
Must be the KR2 needs a higher signal strength to operate? |

| I have the same problem with my Linksys router. My PC5750 (Alltel) connects but the router just blinks and blinks when the signal is low. A booster or omni antenna for the PC5750 would probably do the trick. |
