I was checking to see if you had activated the USB720 before. VZAccess will only work with the USB720 plugged into the computer, it can't see the USB720 if it's plugged into the KR2.
You should certainly be able to plug the USB720 into the KR2 and have it share the connection. At least it does with my KR1. Once the router is on, you have to then set up a network connection to connect your computer to the KR2. Just have it use DHCP, assuming you have the KR2 set up that way. Do you know the basics of routers and IP addresses? |

Even though it should support your card right out of the box I would try upgrading the firmware of the router. The wizard is very straight forward so I don't think your problem is there. I also would think you know the last 6 digits of the mac address on the bottom of the router are the default password to log into the router.
I hope if you have not got it working yet that one of these simple steps will solve your problem. |

KR2 with KPC 680. I am a Alltel customer for now, but I do have the KR2 with a express card. I picked my card because I felt a Kyocera router would have the best chance of working well with a Kyocera card. Your card is supported but I have never used it. This is probable not your problem, but the router should default to your usb card. It has fall-over and if you by mistake plugged a network cable into the single wan of the router it would default to that cable that had no connection. I always move my express card up to the top slot, even though it did work from the 2nd or 3rd slot it was by default. I think your usb card is 4th or 5th connection by default. I am guessing you did not get the router from the 3Gstore.com or you would of just called them, and they would of probable been able to walk you through the problem. If I can help you to getting it working I will do my best to help you. You could PM me your phone number if its in the US and I could give you a call to see if we can figure out the problem. |
