Stone Age
period of history in which man used stone tools and weapons.
Stone Age II
period of history where man, after buying so called iPhones, eeePcs, and UNLIMITED wireless borabdband cards, had to go back to use stone tools and weapons (ideally on Sprint management and personnel).
Before Stone Age II, U.S. antitrust action against American Telephone & Telegraph Company in 1983 forced monopolistic giants to break apart. Only so it was possible that those new companies had to compete on price making it affordable to regular US people. At this time, poor human beings living in caves (=Europeans) were crying over their monopolistic colossus as they kept service to a minimum and prices to a max. Everything in America was better and cheaper.
But the previously called "Land of the Free", now called "Land of the Limited", turned back to Ice Age standards. Former Neanderthals, Europeans with really unlimited Internet plans for less than $20, Fiber-to-the-Home with 10M Up/Down for less than $30, cellphone plans for a third of the US average, no minutes when being called since 1990, are now coming to watch this former civilization just like any other National Park where you often find signs of prehistoric civilization (no wall paintings here, but a lot of smashed broadband cards).
They ask "How is it possible, that 25 years after breaking apart the monopolistic structure, the Americans got back those huge reemerging monsters killing all the competition?". But they do not get any answer, at least not if they do not stay in the line for at least 5 hours, waiting for a Neanderthal II, or so called Sprint representative, to finally transfer them over to where the center of prosperity, intelligence and free economy our days lies: a call center in Bangalore, where the underpaid employees at least can go home after work and surf the free, unlimited wireless they all have there. |
