I am trying to setup 2 engeniues 3220+ to share Internet. I have an sprint EVDO linksys router which gets me my Internet and acts as the DHCP. It has a ip of 192.168.1.1. I have attached to that a 3220+ setup as a AP. It has a IP of 192.168.1.5 and a GW of 192.168.1.1.
At the other house I have another 3220+ setup as "bridge" and connected to the ethernet card in the computer. The 3220+ bridge has an ip of 192.168.1.3. I set the GW to 192.168.1.1. I'm not sure if the computers ethernet card was setup to get an address actomatiaclly or if one was put in already. I beleive one was set up manually.
The problem I am having is that I can connect both houses together (about 2000 ft apart). I can ping and see the 3220+ AP configuration page from the "bridge" house. I can ping and see the Linksys router from the bridge house. I can not seem to get Internet at the "bridge" house though. I'm at a lost as to what I am missing. Do I need to enable WDS. |
