Any idea if there will be an SDIO version of an EVDO card from any of the carriers? My ideal setup would be to have a PDA with 640x480 res (i.e. Dell Axim X51v) plus a high speed EVDO connection.

Conversely, has anyone heard of any EVDO capable PDA phones coming out that have 640x480 res?

Thnx

Would be nice for sure. But it seems there aren't pocketpc drivers for evdo anywhere yet, much less a CF interface evdo card. I think some folks tried a pmcia card adaptor on their pda's only to find no drivers available....

As far as I know, no PDAs include cardbus chipsets, just PCMCIA or CF (a subset of PCMCIA).

And, as previously discussed, all current EVDO cards require cardbus support.
