I think that was fixed in the .12 release (the one I am running). At the very least I no longer have to do the whole QoS tweak to get the stock firmware upload back to spec.

This seems to be working for me:

ftp://ftp.linksys.com/downloads/NA/firmware/WRT54G3G-ST_2.01.13_fw.bin

BTW, I have not upgraded since the only change listed appears to be specific to a device I don't have. I am running .12, but figured all the folks with problems with .12 might want to give this a shot.

Thank you Larry, I have not updated mine yet as I am of the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it until it is broke" <G>
I do maintain all downloads as they become available, just in case<G>
I have not updated mine yet as I am of the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it until it is broke" <G>
LOL, I tried to resist, but every firmware update usually makes it's way to my devices. This one seemed to add nothing for me but the (extremely slight) risk of bricking my router, but I still was powerless to resist. Very Happy

This firmware seems to break the PC5750/PX500 card. Has anyone else experienced this. I upgraded the firmware last night and the router rebooted normally and everything. The light was blinking green on the aircard but the router would not let me try to connect via the web (button was grayed out) nor could I press the button on the front and get it to try to connect. I downgraded back to 2.09 with no problems.

This has been a "feature" of the linksys firmware since 2.01.12.
That is what drove me to the RangerW openwrt r82 with mods.
Obviously, they don't care whether or not they "break" this card.

Has anyone tried this link lately? All I get is an empty ftp directory.

Worked for me as of a few seconds ago. The best way would still be to go through Linksys' web interface, but the ftp link appears to be valid still.

I actually did try the web interface, it leads to the same spot as that link... which still isn't working for me.
