| Hello, I've been using the mbr1000 for a couple months now with the 1.1.1 firmware upgrade and I haven't had any problems whatsoever. I don't use any special settings, just set up for internet access with wpa security. Today i couldn't connect to the router with any of my computers. Windows shows the router in available networks, though the signal is erratic even though the router is right next to the computers. After being unable to connect wirelessly, I created a wired connection with my laptop which connected fine so I went to the admin page at 192.168.0.1 where I couldn't find any problems. I then rebooted the router with the reboot now and still couldn't connect wirelessly. After that I used the reset all router settings button which still didn't help. I've also tried unplugging the router and that hasn't helped either. I did leave it unplugged for over a minute. I was able to connect one time with limited access, and when I checked network status I had several hundred packets sent to the router, and nothing received back. Any Ideas here? Do I just have a bad router? Until now I've been extremely happy with this router and the verizon usb720 modem. |
