Got my new MBR1000 set up and connected to my laptop, using Verizon 740 PC card for Internet. Next question is how to connect a printer to the network? I seem to remember seeing USB dongles that I can plug into the printer, which will then connect it to a wireless network. If there is such a thing, do I need to make any changes to the settings on the MBR to connect to the printer?

if your printer supports an ethernet connection, plug it into the back of MBR1000.

if not, see if your printer has a WiFi option or ethernet/network option available for it.

Was trying to stay away from the cable. We're buying an RV, so I am looking for flexibility in storage. I am thinking about getting a new, smaller printer, and one of the small sheet fed scanners. Then, I can put them away when I don't need them, and just turn them on, without plugging in cables when I need one.

But if I was going that big, I would just stay with my current wireless printer, which I will probably do anyway. Difficult to convince the wife to spend $100 for a new goodie, when the current one works just fine.

Back to the original second question. Do I have to make any changes to the settings in the MBR to connect a printer into the network?
