5GB LIMIT! HOW DID YOU FIND OUT ABOUT IT?

This is serious and significant. When did Sprint announce this (any link)? Seems we all should have been notified by email at least. It is too big a change to try to slip under the wire.

Will it apply to everyone or just new accounts and those no longer under contract?

It is going to be a deal breaker for many. It is certainly enough of a change in the contract to permit you to cancel the contract without paying the penalty fee.
