Honestly though... I went with sprint due to coverage/speed/unlimited plan that actually meant unlimited... Been 3 years now... /cry
So... in all honesty... Who else is going to be canceling their plans due to this 5GB cap crap? I live out in the boons in San Antonio where the only thing that reaches is DSL and while they say up to 1.5gb I was NEVER (even with my custom DSL modem) able to get more then half that... and the ping was higher then my Sprint U720 EVDO Rev A connection... no broadband... and an entire family of 8 people who use it ALL the time...
I did a test to see if i should worry (even though all my tech instincts told me i should definitely) and I passed 5GB in not more then 8 days...
Is their ANYTHING I can do... or has Sprint put the final nail in its coffin for many a people/family's like mine...?
(if not... Kyocera KR1 with 2nd USB Power Mod/U720 For sale in 1 month... Any takers... /cry )
EDIT1: Also to add... I have noticed akword disconnects/drops for the past month or so... along with a decrease in speed... where i would normally get 1.3mb down to about 700-900kbps

Perhaps this is caused by the bandwidth hogs who are now becoming dirty mouth posters?
Do we really need to have someone attach a vile post, rather than a rant, to each thread? |

i've cleaned up a couple of these posts. this is the only warning i am going to give all forum fans: i completely understand your frustration. we share your pain.
but do not disrespect these forums with profanity, or you will be banned. |

wow...
i made this to find out how many others are upset and are either leaving sprint as well or planning to... no-one else
also the word f*** was both censored and used in context that SHOULDN'T have been offensive... but then again... people give words their power... it would figure that this sites admins are no different...
EDIT1: "Do we really need to have someone attach a vile post, rather than a rant, to each thread?"
When a company who has a huge plus over other company's (IE Sprint with a TRULY unlimited data plan where all others fall short) screws it up and decides to add cap... yes... totally needed... maybe SOMEONE will realize that MANY a people use their service as an alternative... ESPECIALLY when they live far from main city centers... additionally since they pay about the same amount as DSL/Broadband carriers for their BW i don't understand why us already paying 2x the price for 1x the speed ISN'T enough for them already... |
