very new to all this, so if I leave out some info you need please ask.

I only have been able to test this with World of Warcraft. But when the modem (UM150) is in the router I get better pings (300 - 450) but the game hangs, lags out, than disconnects me. It plays great for 1 - 3 minutes, then it lags out and disconnects.

When I plug the modem directly into my PC I get worse pings. (I assume due to the PC not being in as good a location as the router.) But I am able to play the game without lagging out or being disconnected.

I have tried using the "Games" option in the router, but it did not fix the problem.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

I have the same problem. I have a um150 also. But I have good connection on both just using modem and also router. But when I play Wow from the router it disconnects me from WOW every time. When I go back to just using the modem. I play fine with no disconnects. I have tried everything that I can think of and some suggestions from cradlepoint support. But nothing has worked so far.
Has anyone else got this problem or have any solutions?
These are some things I have done. I am using only the Ethernet cable.
Disabled traffic shaping. Disabling SPI under Advanced->Firewall and disable Non-UDP/TCP/ICMP LAN Sessions . Suggested be Cradlepoint support. I also port forward the ports that WOW uses.
I am running windows XP pro.
Please can anyone help. I would like to be able to use my $250.00 router when playing WOW.

I know this is an old topic, but just wondering if any fixes were ever found.

I have a KR2 + UM150 with the exact same problem, and the way my computers/router is set up, it is nearly impossible to use the card directly into my desktop.
