I was having problems connecting last week and called Verizon tech support. I really think it is a tower issue but they went through all the normal steps. At one point I entered a couple AT$ commands in a command prompt. Would these in any way affect my download speed? I am able to connect now but I am gettting 1.1 meg download istead of 1.7-2.0 like I used to be getting. I was just curious if the commands changed anything. I didn't write them down but I wish I had.
Thanks |

It may of have plus it could just be something wrong with the tower. But at least your problem is fixed with getting online. Try calling them back to see whats going on. |

Issuing AT commands can alter many things. I'm not sure what that command is off hand but I know that changing even one line with an AT command can cause huge differences.
What did you issue that command for? It doesn't look like a complete command or argument from what I know about AT commands, so I would assume it came back with an error and did nothing, or came back and told you the command was successful. |

| Well I can't remember the rest of the commands, just that it started with AT$. I had to enter two of them and they were both successful. |
