Sprint EVDO, With ICS to Wireless Router

Well I took my wife's laptop, with the Sprint U727 modem, shared the connection with ICS and then ran a cat5 cable from the laptop the Xbox 360, boom Xbox Live! I am happy, now I want to go further. I want to do this:

Laptop With Sprint --> Wirless Router --> Cable to Xbox 360

I want the wireless router in there to add wireless to the house for the Wii, the iPod Touch etc. Now on the connection from the laptop to the wireless access point, would that be a cross over cable? I did straight patch cable to the 360, reading the online I didn't need a cross over with the 360's gigabit connection. So I need a cross over for the wireless router right? I plan to use another older pc instead of the laptop and can just setup a fully wireless setup and have xbox live.

nevermind I am on my ipod touch on it works no cross over needed
