It will have dual ports (1 USB & 1 ExpressCard) which will support fail-over. If you look in the picture, there is a Sprint and Verizon card, so if I go to an area that doesn't have coverage of one, it will fail-over to the other card.
This isn't meant to replace the PHS300 (Battery version), just a stretched out CTR350 that supports an ExpressCard. _________________ EVDO :: EVDO News :: EVDO Antennas :: Buy Verizon :: Buy Sprint :: EVDO Amplifier |

I like the video. Instruction sheets and web pages are so cold.
Was that a Canon DVD reflecting ever so briefly on the shiny case? |

yes jack, it was a several year old canon miniDV camcorder.
with the positive response we've been getting over these last two videos, we are planning to do more of them, and are considering a better quality camcorder to ensure brighter video.
thanks for the support! |

Video brighness can be adjusted in the editing software but one change would be to use a medium grey background instead of a white background since white is bright and will cause the auto brightness to be set lower causing a darker image.
Of course you can do what I used to do and manually adjust the exposure using the viewfinder as a guide. There should be + and - exposure adjustments somewhere. Check the manual.
Or call Canon Support... |

Cradlepoint CTR500 Router Review is almost done. Should be up any day now. Not sure that pricing has been confirmed. Probably around $180.
here's a photo of the CTR500 sitting on top of MBR1000:

Well, I like the two new features, wifi ant. hookup and the s-meter. Sold my 350 and should have the 500 Thursday. 3G gave me 20 bux off retail for having purchased the modem there in Feb.

It LOOKS like a female SMA, but I can't tell for sure. It's the tiniest WiFi connector I've ever seen, way smaller than the BNC-types on the Linksys, for example.
