MBR1000 and usage statistics

Is there any way to tell my total usage with the MBR1000. I'm on the Verizon 5GB plan and obviously don't want to go over the limit. Before I hooked up the router I could tell my total usage using the VZAccess Manager and it was also updating on the Verizon Wireless website in My Account. Does anybody know how often verizon updates your account with data usage?

Would power cycling the router at the end of each day to break the connection get the usage updated on Verizon's site? If so, what's the best way to power cycle the router?

Disconnecting from the Verizon service doesn't force it to update your usage stats. These are automatically updated every 48-72 hours.

Best/only way to power-cycle the router is to simply unplug the power cable, leave unplugged for a few seconds, and then re-connect the power.

You can also re-boot the router from the admin page. Tools > System > Reboot device.
