| I live in Hillsboro ohio out in the country with trees all around me. I only pick up two bars on national access right now and broadband access just flashes blue when i try to find it only. If I were to buy a trucker lookin antenna off ebay that is supposed to increase signal up to 1500% for the um150 usb modem would it work?? |

beware of ebay hype making outrageous claims. use common sense.
if you want the opinion of people who routinely sell and support this kind of stuff, go read this article:

with those answers, we can more easily recommend proper gear. |

| well i figured pumping out 921.6 kbps would let me play games online but my ping is still from 300-400. I just dont get this stuff. |

improving your signal is not likely to have much affect on latency/ping.
most of the latency is a result of poor 'routing tables' on network between the cell tower and the gaming server... not you and the tower. |

| when i used the trial it was a lot faster it watched movies fine and played games fine. but now that i subscribed to the monthly 5g it buffers every sec on movies and lags on games. |
