Wich antenna can I buy for an Axesstel MV400i EVDO modem???

I live in Puerto Rico, in the country, surrounded by mountains and trees and I have only two out of five bars reception. I was wondering if an antenna can help me get better reception. If so, which antenna should I buy and where can I get it? Can a better antenna improve downloads and uploads rates? Can I found the antenna at the local Radio Shack?

If there are more people from Puerto Rico with Centennial Mobile internet, I would like to know their download and upload rates and the equipment they are using along with the area where they are located. Thanks in advance for your replies.
