I've got an old direcway/hughesnet dish that we own since we had to buy our equipment back when we had that service. It's a different shape, sort of wide rather than circular, unlike most of the dishes that I see used as antennas around the internet. Does anyone know of a guide I could use to make this dish into an EVDO antenna, using something like a cantenna? I'm not so good with my radio engineering, so the simpler the better  |

| The easiest way to do it is to mount a cell antenna where the LNB is normally installed . Then aim the dish at the tower. It will make a trucker type antenna more directional. |

Could you use one of the coax cables used for the dw6000 satellite modem and 'insert' it into the external antennae jack on an aircard (um150)? |
