|
|
Among the many problems I am having with the CTR350, one of the most annoying is the DNS Poisoning message, prompting me to restart my browser. I keep things open in my browser for days, I can't do that. And even when I do restart my browser, it does the same thing! Can I disable this annoyance?
I'm beginning to wonder if it would be better just to get a cheap Mac and use it as a router for the connection... So far, doing this through an iMac has worked WAYYYYY better than the CTR350... |

Not knowing anything about your configuration makes it hard to even begin to guess.
I've only got the message once, and that when I was using TWO routers and switched between them so had an explanation.
Have you tried setting the DNS entries to OpenDNS or something similar? Or do you let the router DHCP and set them? Are the DNS problems coming from a local DNS or the internet? How are you connecting to the internet (WAN or EVDO)? |

| Hmm, well I haven't tried setting the DNS yet, but oddly enough, the problem seems to have disappeared for the most part. I had just switched from another router, so that may be the cause. I also figured out that, oddly enough, our iMac was causing alot of the freezing issued I had with the router, so I hooked it up via ethernet instead, and problem solved :/ |
