I bought that and it doubled my speed .Im still trying to get a little better and was wondering if there was anything better than this.

How was your signal before? and after? Once you get it so low you won't notice any more speed increases.

Also what is your speed tests reporting? speedtest.net and you can copy the image location at the end to post here.

Yours says system gain is 13db... dunno how truthful that is though.

here is a 3g store one with specs listed as 10-15db gain

I dunno if you'd notice anymore speed increases past like say a -75dbm signal...

*EDIT*
I purchased this item. I will post results compared to my 3g Booster Antenna. For the price what the hell Very Happy. I'm already seeing -72dbm... we'll see what happens. If it sucks I'm not out much.

My speed test went from 100 to about 2 to 300 KB


My bar was usualy at 1 to none now its usualy at 2 bars some times 3 Mostly 2 though.

Can you post your dbm scores? Mouse over the connection bars to see them.

I've read before that it depends on your location. How far away are you from good signal according to sprint's map.

For 13dpi gain I would expect better results then just 1 bar... I should have this item by Friday since my paypal doesn't have 20+ replies... I will let you know what I think about this device.

What the hell right? its only money

try different places in your house, outside, by a window, drive around in your car. See where you can get better signal.

You can also call 3g store and see what they can do for you. I would get as much infomation about your area as you could before you call. A yagi antenna you can point in one direction and thats suppose to make it better as well as an amplifier but now you're talking some big bucks 300+ dollar range.

Try forcing EVDO in the options. Third option in drop down box. click EVDO only and Sprint Only for roaming. Mine says weird dbm when in auto mode.

It wont let me .

I see the options but there greyed out.


It hasnt went into roaming since i got teh antenna.


The antenna has allso stopped teh disconnects when hooked up to the router.


I just need the strongest connection i can get for xboxlive.


Only game that play half way decent rite now is halo 3.rest are laggy and or wont play.

You have to be disconnected for that to work.

Also something I was thinking about last night was putting a metal plate under your antenna. Anything but aluminum will work I beleieve, I read this somewhere...

Thats what i did.

I put a metal round like thing on the roof and stuck it on that..Because the Antenna is magnetic on the bottom.

Let me know how your antenna works.


Because im considering trying anther.

I got an emailed said it shipped today. I live in Ohio and product is in Ohio... We'll see how fast it gets here. USPS... probably 5 business days... gd government run services.

From what you said and how cheap it was... I don't have high hopes for this product. Probably will regret not putting this $ toward something at 3g ><

Okay, I have the antenna and I've done some primlimary tests. "fair tests" booster and the new antenna 13dpi place in same position. Booster out performs it hands down. Sad... By about 10dbm...

Right now I'm busy updating and adding music to my mom's mothers day present. I will post more in depth later when I'm not busy. Possibly look for it 2marrow.

W/o any antenna -87dbm
W/ Booster antenna (3g store) 3dpi , -72dbm
W/ this ebay antenna 13dpi, -79dbm - same location as booster, in house
W/ this ebay antenna 13dpi, -76dbm - window

Will test in car tomarrow which has a metal roof, I don't have a metal plate laying around here. It's suppose to rain for next few days. Sometime Ill stretch it out to the roof. So far I'm not impressed but I wouldn't say its a total sh*t antenna just fake specs.

I have the 3dpi Booster Antenna. However, your base signal is worse then mine...

This is the one i have

By the way i just did some test and here are the results.

the 1xevdo reva without antenna was at 115 dbm with antenna its 97 and 98 aorun that range.

Im in the coverage area where i should be getting atleast 600 kb downlaod and im only getting half that and thats with the antenna.Could it be trees or what?

My area code is 47112 shows im in the good coverage area.I dont see why im only getting half what i should be.
