I don't know if its the USB720 Modem or Verizon but everytime I connect my modem light is blinking fine where it's transmitting and receiving data and then about 3 minutes later it stops working the light goes from a blinking state to a solid one where its not transmitting data. This has been going on for about 3 hours now, before this it worked fine through out the day.
I have been using Verizon for about 2 months so I'm not that experienced with these problems I also sometimes get the "Error QA913' pop up window and it says ''Unable to connect at this time please try again later'' then a few seconds later I try to connect it works fine then it stops working after 3 minutes.
Please any help would be appreciated
Thanks! |

Have you tried the device using another computer? I would consider uninstalling , restarting the computer, re-installing the VZM. Can't hurt to try

Have you tried it using the Y-cable? I thought I read a post that sometimes it is needed depending on the computer. Just a thought.

I think the problem might be the USB720 as much as it could be verizon's connection, whenever I connect the session lasts for about 2 minutes then the modem goes to a solid blinking which means it is not transmitting I've been using this modem for about 4 weeks and worked just fine since last night when I started to have this problem; I have insurance on the modem and its from a verizon store not from an authorized dealer so I don't think it would take 3 weeks for it to get to me right?

Best bet is to call the store and have them replace it. It's rare but I have read of a few defective 720s.

I don't think the problem is my modem, apparently whenever the connection goes into a dormant state i get disconnected and whenever its on National Access it works just fine but when it goes back to broadband rev-a it goes to a dormant state and then it disconects, so like i have to keep a youtube video loading for it not to go into a dormant state is this like a problem with a tower or seomthing?
