Has anyone used their KR2 with a BlackBerry in WiFi mode? Belkin routers make the phone crash, but a Linksys works fine. I need to switch to EVDO for a couple of weeks and wanted to by a 3G router so my wife can surf while I am working. I also need to use my T-Mobile BlackBerry in a non T-Mobile area with the WiFi. I just want to make sure the Kyocera won't do the same thing that the Belkin did. The reports on the Linksys 3G router look bad so I'm exploring other options.

I haven't specifically heard of anyone using a blackberry device via WiFi with a KR2. However; I have talked to someone who uses a WiFi-enabled blackberry with the CradlePoint MBR1000...which is almost identical to the KR2.
The only real difference between the two is that the KR2 has a PCMCIA slot, the MBR1000 doesn't...and the exterior design of course. Infact, CradlePoint manufacturers the KR2 for Kyocera.

If your EVDO modem is supported by the MBR1000, I would suggest it over the KR2, as CradlePoint releases firmware upgrades/fixes more frequently than Kyocera does.
