IF I hover mouse pointer over signal bars on QLM dashboard, signal strength pops up -70% and when I use the "HELP" link on dashboard I will see my RSSI at -91dBm. Should these match? Both vary from minute to minute and I am 2 miles from Alltel tower. Never have seen more than 590Kbps using speakeasy with -78dBm signal.

the 70% you see in QLM is just a signal strength percentage out of 100%. The RSSI is a better indicator of your signal strength. The difference in the numbers is the signal bars (70%) is better if it is higher... the RSSI is better if it is lower (-60dBm).

It's the same signal, represented in two different ways. Again, the RSSI is what you should worry about and not the signal percentage meter.
