I have been getting Rev-A here for the past few weeks in Northern lower west Mi (Newaygo 49337).
Now for some reason, back on EVDO. Using a Yagi directional antenna, so I know I am not picking up a different tower. |

Well, I don't know if this is something that is staying here or not, but I just started seeing some REV A speeds !!!!
I'm near Olar, SC.
What's weird is we're part of Alltel that is being divested, and not turned into Verizon.
The speeds are all over the place right now, hopefully they'll settle down. Uploads have been 175kb/s to 350kb/s. The download speeds have been mediocre at best, but I am still very excited!!! |

I started out the weekend the same way, I am in southern illinois and we got upgraded to rev A speeds, my pings are even great at around 112.
Our area here is being divested, and not turning into Verizon also. |

I just checked my speed a few days ago and I did not have Rev A then. I checked tonight and was surprised at my ping right away. my speeds were.
I guess only time will tell if it stays this way.
I am located about at the intersection of the White River and HWY 62 in the valley right on the river. I have a omni directional antenna connected to a KR2 with a KPC 680 card. I have not done any PRL changes since before VZ took over or firmware upgrades to the router in that time either. |

Alltel UM150 in a MBR1000.
Not sure if the signal is coming from an Alltel or Sprint tower, can't check the P/N b/c modem is in router.
The towers are both about 2 miles from my home, LOS thru trees, they are about a mile apart, maybe less.
Best speed to date for me.
South of Youngstown, Ohio, in 44455 zip code. |

| Ever since going to Rev A, my downloads are about 300Kb/s slower than what I used to average. I used to consistently get 1600-1900, but haven't seen over 1300 since getting Rev. A. Now my upload is a lot better, ranging from 200-400 Kb/s. |

3 days and still Rev A.
Connected the moden to the laptop today and it is coming from a Sprint tower.
Was on PRL 40045 but loaded 40047 today, works the same can't see any improvement so far. |

Same here, and it just seems to be getting better.
That seems to be pretty good speeds for a Saturday afternoon at 12:30. |

I just started getting rA (revision A) here today, so far I'm NOT impressed. I don't see any difference yet, I'm hoping that will change; it's no faster than EV. _________________ Dave |
