Age of Conan!

Anyone else been reading up on this game?

I just quit playing WoW for the 3rd time in anticipation for this game. It looks very interesting. I'm curious to how well its going to work over EVDO since the combat is more action based, less turn based.

I'm in open beta, currently downloading the client (13gigs, doing it at my moms house on cable) It still took about 12 hrs to dl off of fileplanet.

I'm thinking it will play pretty well. If we had rev A.. I'd have no doubts, but still waiting here in alltel rev 0 ville. anyone else in beta for this?

none of which are my connection Razz

When I was able to play. I was getting anywhere from 150-280 pings..

never really went much over that, except for a few spikes here and there that everyone will get.

and this was during a server stress test, with 50,000 people shoved into 3 measily servers..

I think i held my own.. MUCH better network coding than WoW..

if anyone was thinking about trying it out.
works amazing for me on EVDO.
