Why is my upload so high?

Just curious why my upload is twice my download speed? I thought it was only supposed to be 400-700 upload. Mine seems to be backwards?

I'm getting an erroneous upload, too. Only Rev. 0 service here so the testmy.net upload of 250 kbps can't be right.

testmy.net upload = 250 kbps
speakeasy.net/speedtest/ upload = 100 kbps
speedtest.net = 95

Data compression during uploads will often give erroneous results on these speedtests. Some sites inform you if your ISP is using compression and warn you that the results might not be accurate.
