Hello,
A customer in Willington (zip 06279), has been having the strangest problem. They have a new KPC650. It was only staying connected for 3 - 15 minutes and it would disconnect her. She upgraded her OS, still had problems. We sent her a new replacement KPC650, assuming that the first one was defective. Still had problems. After many calls to Verizon Wireless Data Tech Support, they finally told her, there was a problem with "the tower" and that they would "tweak it". And guess what, that solved the problem. Now, the problem is returned. It seems to do it a lot more in the morning and during the day vs. at night.
So, I would guess it is some sort of capacity issue or some other technical problem that Verizon is having with this specific tower.

News flash...
It looks like the disconnect issues are related to the card going into dormant mode. We provided the customer with a new version of our Dormant Killer program (to test) and that seems to have solved it.
