Messing around with my KR2, i discover that new firmware is available:
But, tests by other staffers using .00 firmware, did not show the .02 as being available... so your results may vary.
We'll have much more about it, in an article we're writing up for EVDOinfo.com

Nothing that I have seen initially. The only information I got on it is from their website:
"Automatically checks online for the latest firmware build, downloads and installs with a single click."
Maybe the 3Gstore guy's know more?!?! |

what you found is what we know as well.
probably a maintenance release.
no new features/functionality/device support that we know of. |

| ZE1003 fixes an issue with the new firmware notification feature. ZE1002 couldn't see the upgrade on the server so with ZE1003, the next build (likely ZE1004) will be seen by the router and available for automatic upgrade. |

You don't open it, you go to the router configuration pages (http://192.168.0.1) and then go to the Tools tab, then the Firmware menu and upload and update that way.
The .bin file isn't an executable file. |

if you had bought your KR2 from 3gstore, the firmware would have come on CD because we provide a backup copy to our customers.
i'm guessing you did not get your KR2 from 3gstore.
you should call whoever you did get your KR2 from, and get support.
if they don't provide support, you may want to consider returning it to them, and getting a router from 3gstore, just for our superior support.
just stinkin out loud. |
