Centro and PHS300 without Phone as a Modem?

Hi all,
I added the Sprint Phone as a Modem (PAM) feature to my plan to see if my Centro/PHS300 combo would work, and it went fine, but now I'm curious to see if there's anyway to use this combo without PAM enabled? I've used USBModem and PDANet tethered to my PC/Mac in the past, but had no luck with the PHS300. Anyone try this or have any input?

Will not work sorry. You need to turn on PAM Wink
