Odd lag spikes, dying device?

For the past week I've been experiencing odd latency issues. I use a U720 with Sprint's service. I first noticed the latency issues while playing games. I would sit around 200-300ms and then a 5-20 lag spike would hit, causing my latency to jump to 1500ms+. Shortly after the latency would return to normal. The spikes affect games, browsing and voice communication. I've been using the same setup for over a year and a half and just started to notice this behavior.

Below is a traceroute to us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com. I noticed line two seems unusual. Any idea what that means?

Also, I noticed that the connection manager says I am receiving a Rev A signal, but I should be more than 30 miles from the nearest Rev A coverage area. Neither the local Sprint store or the national customer service had any idea about why that was happening.

My U720 has been doing this lately. Downloading faster than uploading. When it starts to chunk out, do a speed test sometime and see if the same things are happening. I think my device is dying too.

I would trade you my 1900kbs down for that 106ms ping! I cant get anything under 170ms.
