Hi,
I am going to get an EVDO router, I just need to figure out which one I want. I have a SPrint U727 and I get consistent -83 RSSI with about 1.1 to 1.3 mbps down and 100-300 kbps up. I have been looking at two different routers to get for my house. the Cradlepoint MBR1000 and the kyrocera KR2. Both can support the U727 but I don't know which one to get. If anyone uses either of them, please post your experiences with the router. I was wondering if there is a speed difference between the two. THanks for any suggestions.

We have experience with both Smile

They both are good routers (both made by CradlePoint), BUT the main differences is support.

The new features/support are available for the MBR1000 and there hasn't been one yet for the KR2. The MBR1000 continues to have some very cool features planned (cannot tell you, but they are cool). Also, as a company, we work closely with CradlePoint and it allows us to provide better support.

If I were recommending one over the other, I would go with the MBR1000, you will have much better support now and in the future.

Okay, THanks.
I have been looking at both, and was leaning toward the cradlepoint, so now you have confirmed my choice.
