EV-DO authorization information

Hi EV-DO gurus!
I'm newbie in EV-DO and phones programming, but I wanna growing Wink

So, can you explain me what does some strange technologies and abbreviates mean?
1. QNC - quic network connection, but how it is connected with EV-DO? What auth need?
2. HDR / HDR AN AUTH ?? (High Date Rate)
3. Strange subtabs in QPST in PPP tab: Rm, Um, AN?
4. MDR mode?
