Slingbox Player Settings?

I scoured to see if anyone had optimal setting for EVDO CARD and Slingbox but couldnt find anything.

Here is my deal... I have a Pocket PC 6800 with EVDO and it slings great, but my EVDO card is very choppy and pauses for 10 seconds at a time.. I tried multiple settings with Sling Player Desktop... What gets me is the phone plays better than the computer at the same area.

Does anyone have any ideas, I have turned off Stream Optimizer but this makes this worse, I changed quality settings lower, everything...

Here is more info. When I do a speedtest with EVDO card (speedtest.net, speakeasy) I get about 1100-1200 kbps.

So im at a loss here, can anyone give me some ideas?

I'm not familure with the device your speaking of but I am familure with the issue your having.

How I resolved my issue with the 'pausing'?
Found the optimal position in my house and put my booster antenna there.

Does your device have an external antenna jack?
Does this problem go away when you move outside?
What about a mile down the road?

If its always giving you this... maybe its the card? The tower? The Home agent?

Is your "UpSling" EVDO?

I have had excellent luck with the SlingBox and EVDO.

My Slingbox is hooked up to a basic cable connection (300-500kbs up), and we DownSling to Palm Handhelds and laptops (using Virtual Machines) all the time. The quality is suprisingly good.

Are you running the latest Sling firmware & players?

We are just using the standard settings the SlingPlayer recommends.

Gota say, the SlingBox rocks, especially when coupled with a DVR.
