Hi;

I tried out both Sprint & Verizon in December, and they seemed about the same so I stuck with Verizon. But when I canceled my Sprint account, the operator said Sprint would be upgrading their stations here in Los Angeles in March or April.

In the meantime, Verizon has been working well enough when it works, but I've had several total system outages or slowdowns. Specifically, I need an upload speed of minimum 180 kbps, and verizon manages that 80% of the time, but 20% it's at around 50 kbps, which is useless to me.

Does anyone know if Sprint is more reliable, or if those new stations will really go in and really improve performance?

And I guess this would be the wrong place to ask about AT&T EDGE performance/reliability....

Anyway, thanks for any help,

Paul

I have Sprint U727 and it works very well in San Gabriel Valley and Chino areas. I am consistently getting 350-650 kbs upload speed. It seems that the signal and speed have improved somwhat in the past 6 months as well. Why don't you give Sprint another 30-days trial again?
