| Hi, I'm new here but I was directed here by someone who told me this is the place for EVDO answers. I am a telecom technician and am having issues using EVDO (Sprint service using a Merlin 720 and Verizon with unknown card). I am setting up remote workers using the wireless to access terminal services via VPN and using a software based VOIP phone to connect to the internal phone system. The issue is that the phone system uses MAC addresses to register and recognize VOIP clients. All are showing the generic MAC of the EVDO connection and I can therefore not register or use more than one VOIP connection. Is there any way to spoof/reassign the generic MAC on the cards? Can anyone think of a filter or proxy I could route through to accomplish the same? Please help. I have spent considerable time on this and have come up with nothing. |
