I tried registering at this site called tunefeed.com but it gave me an error window that said my ip address was on their list of restricted ip addresss. How would this happen and could this be a problem with Sprint?

Its most likely due to the admins banning a user or spammer with a similar IP range that you are on.

Example:

If the spammers IP was 71.16.132.87, and they banned the IP range 71.16.*.* and your IP happens to be within the same range say... 71.16.144.62, then they assume that you may be the spammer.

Try contacting the admins of that site to see if they can help you out.

Switching your home access will also give you a different IP Address range.

Keep a log of IPs that you get that are denied or allowed.

Torrey is correct, this is 100% the issue with the site you are connecting to, for some reason they are blocking the Sprint IP range that you got assigned.

Another way around it, would be to go through a free proxy, which would give you a different IP when connecting.
