|
|
I was wondering if there is any way at all to schedule the router to power-cycle/reboot via the router settings or an external program...at least once a day the router 'locks-up' and needs to be turned off/on to regain an internet connection. It would be very helpful if I could schedule the router to automatically cycle at a given time or when it 'locks up'.
Thanks for any help that you may be able to provide. |

Provide more info on:
- Carrier Used
- Make/Model of Card
There are some Alltel customers that experience this (with or without router) and it is due from the way AllTel handles "dormant mode".
If you purchased your CradlePoint from 3Gstore.com, send an email to support at 3gstore dot com and if you are using AllTel, ask for the "CradlePoint/AllTel Fix" _________________ EVDO :: EVDO News :: EVDO Antennas :: Buy Verizon :: Buy Sprint :: EVDO Amplifier |

Check your email Jeff... because you bought your CTR350 from 3gstore, I have sent you the 3Gstore.com Alltel & CradlePoint TipSheet which should resolve the issue you are having.
Another solution from your EVDO Experts at 3Gstore.com |

Hello,
Could find your email address in our database.
Send an email to support at 3Gstore.com and include your invoice number or send from your email address that you purchased the CradlePoint.

May I make a very low tech suggestion? Get a power plug timer: the kind usually used to turn on and off lamps and such. Program it to cycle off, and then immediately cycle back on.

| I am a new Alltel/CTR350 user (switching from Hughesnet/direcway) and I have this same problem (which has been somewhat hard to diagnose). I purchased my CTR350 directly and contacted their support desk for this fix y'all have mentioned. They told me I needed to wait for a future firmware fix. I purchased it directly from them. Is there anyway to get this fix from 3Gstore in the mean time? |
