Are there any Mini Pci (not express) cards for EVDO?

Just curious if I could update my Inspiron 700 M laptop to EVDO. I have a wirless card in the mini-pci slot now but would ditch it for a EVDO mini-pci card.

I have seen express pci cards but not mini-pci.

we once took the card from a u720 and installed it in place of wifi card on mac mini:

I already have a USB 727 setup (antenna, router) from 3g which works great.

But I would like to see if I could get rid of the external adapter,

That's a nice setup for the Mac, but that's an PCI express format.
