I am interested in getting EVDO soon, but sprints coverage maps show me as in the roaming area, but less than half a mile from the mobile broadband. is this 100% accurate, or is there a chance of me being able to get the 400-700kbps instead of the 50-150kbps?

Also, if I am only getting the 50-150kbps, whats the chance of a Booster Antenna increasing it? (I would be using the Novatel U727 USB connection).

And one last question, just to make sure, Sprint does not have a cap on how much you can download each month, like Verizon does, correct? because 5GB would be too little for me, I would need atleast 8-10GB per month.

I hope I am able to get EVDO soon and become a frequesnt user and contributor to these forums Smile
looks like a great place for every EVDO user.

What is your signal strength as it stands now? When I needed an antenna due to the closest tower being 1xRTT and another a good distance away was evdo I saw a difference of maybe -12 in signal strength at best. It made the connection more usable but speeds were a little eratic at times due to connection.

My monthly average just guessing is in the 5-10 gp range w/o issue. I do try to keep it under 8-10 gb because this is a shared service and a few neighbors are also using evdo all pulling from the same tower. While you can use more I don't like to abuse it and hope others feel the same.
